While Bagehi’s mini-report comes as good piece to read while the dust settles there are a few inaccuracies with it, which I intend to fix with the following battle report.
For starters Raiden. super-capitals weren’t on the field from the start, most of them stayed put at the PF-QHK (Venal) solar system until four hours into the fight.
Secondly, from the so called Team TECH, INIT were the ones who took the bulk of the beating still such a beating looks like a lenient collateral damage compared to how much the Deklein Coalition actually lost. Dust has actually settled and the battle-reports show ~900 DekCo loses Vs ~300 Team Tech loses.
Battle Report: The Team Tech scores clear victory against DekCo at OP9Z-I
Local never peaked at 1900, it actually went up to 1700. Time Dilatation hit the brakes at 10%, that’s it everything in the solar system moved at 10 percent the normal speed. OP9Z-I has some really long warps (100 AU), which in turn translated to ridiculous 10 minute warps for some ships.
Again, an standing ovation to CCP’s IT department for a smooth (albeit slow) fight. Is lovely how there aren’t black-screens of death or massive off-syncs or even rubber-banding after warps, I’ll never get tired of saying this when it due, but CCP did a great job on the node.

0P9Z-I Battle Report – INIT perspective.
Its Friday night, all sides are forming shit. Game on.
Form up starts at 19:00 the call is for Brawler Drakes, we are told the target is a POS. By 19:50 we are at 200 with about 20 scimies and 5/10 recons. At about 20:00 we get the order to bridge in, the titan fail-ahoy’s into the system without us so we quickly form on another titan at which point we jump into a mid way system PF-. PF- stands at about 900+ local the majority friendly bar about 20 or so hostile bombers, I didnt realize they were in system amongst the sea of blues untill 20:58. 20:58 we have been sitting on our mid way titan outside the shields for 20 minutes, a large group of bombers land on us and bomb. The pos is passworded so we have to warp out ASAP, during this palava we get hit hard and lose 58 battlecruisers (NC. lost some BS as well on a different pos eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12404513).
We took a huge hit, we get the order to dock up and those who are able to, titan bridge home and reship, this takes about 15-20 minutes. In the mean time FC changes tac and we get a temp pos pass, we are soon joined by a bomber (vee) who tries to bump the titan (ULTIMATE SPY). RDN and Evoke jump 500 out into target system 0P9Z, we follow them after 10 minutes. GJ to the guys who reshipped so quick.

21:08 we jump into 0P9Z 350k off the main blob of friendlies and some reds, after a short skirmish we warp to the pos at 60 and fire on it. Local rises at 21:10 and by 21:20 local is at 1690 (highest it will be in the fight). 5 minutes later the Goon pos is down. Objective complete, Right? Wrong. First the enemy blob warp on the INIT drakes, we are aligned and warp off without loss. We warp back onto grid at 30k from Test Drakes, we start hitting their scimies. At this point TiDi stands at about 20%, with missile time it was a long wait. We kill about 9 with some other targets of opportunity until they warp out, we are left turley shooting the rest of the poor fuckers in no mans land. During this time we are getting hit by bombers, the majority are damage but as we re-warp down onto the fight we are hit by a few void bombs. This fucks a few of us for a bit because we are constantly MWDing, it doesn’t last long because we recharge cap enough to by varying mod usage (invul off, mwd off, guns off. You get it). 21:58 After another bomb run we warp out on grid, NC. and evoke are duking it out while we warp in at 50k. Local is at 1476 by 22:00. We start shooting primaries again in the form of scimitars and a couple of command ships killing them all successfully. They warp out and the next enemy group seems like mostly Goons, we MWD from 90k to 20k shooting primaries and killing most of them (mix of drakes and scimies and recons). It is mostly NC. and INIT on them, I dont see PL or Evoke at this point. They warp to a tactical and we cool more stragglers (you start to see a cycle). At this point we find ourselves left on the field outnumbered, not sure where blues went but we warp out to sun. TiDi is at 13% at this point, this means the 3 AU warp there and back to a tactical takes ages.
22:57 Once we are back ongrid a new area of fighting is taking place 300k off us, below us 200k is a red drake gang. We both warp to the fight and the same wreck at 0 almost simultaneously, this is a massive royal rumble at this point with both sides essentially at 0 fucking up the other guy. There ships fall fast, but for the first time we get calls on comms that our logis aren’t holding up. We Mwd follow them to the side of bubbles to give ourselves the option to warp out. We are still on scimies and recons. We are really taking a beating, it seems friendlies are hitting a different fleet to us or warp out because there reps slow our damage. Where ships were falling in TiDi 13% 1minue they are now taking 5 and some surviving (heres looking at you hero claymore). We get another comment from logi’s saying we are losing dps at an alarming rate now, we lose the anchor as well by now we get a call for supers to log in. We start killing shit quicker again but are forced to warp to safe by another bombing run and continued enemy pressure.
23:38 We warp back onto grid. Suddenly titans, numbers at 15 at first and rises to 30+ by 23:50. CFC are closer to home and reshipping a lot faster than we are, RDN want to end game this shit before it turns bad. NC. Join them with a couple of their own.
23:00 We MWD towards the fleet at range and pick of people on the fringes, mostly targets of opportunity. It is clear they are losing numbers, local is at 1197. 5 Minutes later they warp out to ZK gate, the majority get rhough but we pick off another 15 who warped late. The next 15 minutes is clean up, local has fallen to 700 or something by now and it is clear we are no longer in danger.
By the time all the turkey shooting is over we are at 12:00, it takes another 30 mins to get home TiDi following us the whole way.
Raiden DOT’s View

We had joint ops planned and knew that goons would bring “everyyyyyyyone” (Leon). Last night we spotted super capitals and capitals moving to Branch, and mails and ops plans indicated a major push being prepared.
This naturally made us a bit more carefull how we throw the supers around. We know that CFC would love to get the chance to pop a few titans or moms.
Tower came out in 0P9 in Branch. A good timer for both parts. A bit late for our eu main power to be put in effect. It is in goons interest to drag the fight on for the night. Allied fleets consisted of PL, NCDOT, INIT, EVOKE and RDN. We got off to a bad start with some coordination issues again. NCDOT and INIT got bombed waiting on titan bridge in PF. We manage to get into system pretty much undammaged with evoke and rdn fleet.
To our luck CFC choose to pull entire fleet 2 jumps out and let us get setup in system with all the allies. Super Fleet put on standby in PF- and rest of allies setup in 0P9.
Fights kick off and we duke it out. Abaddon fleet, drake fleets, oracle fleet + bombers vs. mael and drake fleets + bombers. PL goes down fast to good bombing run but reship and get back in fight later.
We pretty much fight continusly for several hours (or about 30mins if it was non tidi) with both sides bring in reinforcements. Near the end Goons orders close range ammo and go all in close. We choose to put in titans to end the last 100 Maels before it gets to late. Titans in and goons withdraw to neighbor system. We safely extract supers and sub-caps from system since tower is reinforced.
At some point evoke brought a tower but when launched disappeared in system somewhere. Also nice to see that even if Tidi is 10+% then tower still online realtime !weeeeelp!
All in all GF to all and thx to ncdot and pl for giving a hand with pewpew.

From the text there are slight signs of impotence from Mitanni’s words, as he jokingly begs Pandemic Legion to step aside. Signs of things to come? who knows, but he seems to promise a propaganda filled damage control article, which we are looking forwards to. An often overlooked fact is the current shifting doctrine from Maelstroms to Drakes from the DekCo side. The reasons of this are both logistical and economical, the DekCo seems hardly to keep up with the loses, Maelstroms being battleships put a strain not only on DekCo wallets but on Jump Freighter pilots.

You apparently miss the gravity of the situation here. By their actions, PL has made Mitten's case about Titans for him.
If CCP is interested in getting and keeping subscribers, then they must be able to observe some benefit from their individual efforts within the game.
If Titans are now to be the ultimate weapon, that can kill, at will, any other ship in the game from frigate to supercarrier without fear of reprisal, then there is no reason at all to play. The game is finished. The winners are simply continuing to jump the checkers that are left on the board.
This will inevitably lead to a huge nerf on the titan.
I can tell you have issues with the Goons. As do I. But from a gameplay point of view, the Goons are doing it right. They are powerful because many people have joined together to accomplish a common goal. If they are unable to counter a Titan blob, then no one can. And as I've stated above, if there is no way to defeat the opponent, then it is checkmate and time to find a new game.
I hate nerfs. I've opposed every single one that the CSM has suggested. I know that Goons and Test have quite a few Titans themselves so I can't help think that Mittens has setup this confrontation for this very reason. If PL insists on continuing with this unnecessary display of power then the titan will definitely be the next stupidly expensive ship to become virtually worthless for all of the EVE pilots that have spend billions in ISK to train for it.
I personally can not hit a frig with my titan. Do you own one? I doubt it. Using goons as the "if they can't do it no one can" is a little dumb since goons are literally horrible at this game. Bascially Goons have numbers but no skill, Raiden and PL don't have numbers but a fair amount of skill, Goons have a fair EU zone and a great US zone, Raiden have a great EU zone but a poor US one.

What you don't know about shadoo is that he lost two oracle fleets to vee's bombing runs even in tidi. The fight was fairly even(coming from someone who was in the fight) but CFC obviously came out on top strategically as they managed to hold the moon. The raiden(dot) post is almost entirely propaganda, and the init post is actually fairly good.
The best part about the fight was that I could take a bio break in between missile hits and even during a lock time. The entire battle was fought under 50 to 10% tidi.
