Having adopted their WhelpCat philosophy of their Deklein Coalition “sponsors”, Razor Alliance, former Northern Coalition member, now an alliance established in Pure Blind under the approval of the Deklein Coalition, decided to break out the WhelpCats and take a ride to Cobalt Edge.

RZR might be moving back north.

They got sov from goons in PB, and also dropped a new outpost in O-BY0Y

Razor brought over a hundred ships, most of them in vagabonds, hurricanes (current flavor of the month), drakes and a good chunk of logistic support in the form of Scimitars, arriving in multiple groups, including some that had logged off earlier in a clever attempt for a fleet log-trap.

The Razor fleet stuff strong against the Intrepid Crossing attempts to form up a home defense fleet, basically flooding the whole region and preventing movement towards the staging area, still IRC managed to put together a decent fleet, although smaller in size, formed up mostly of shield battle cruisers (Drakes and Hurricanes) which engaged the largest group of hurricanes and surprisingly chewed them up at a considerable rate.

For some reason the Razor fleet did not pulled their ships as they took loses, instead their FC decided to keep pouring up more ships into the grid which caused more confusion and damage to Razor than it did to Intrepid Crossing who end up getting the upper hand for the engagement.

Is this the revival of the rivalry between Razor Alliance and Intrepid Crossing or just history repeating itself?

Goons have Allies not pets. a pet is treated as second or third tier… CFC alliance members are given the same consideration as goons proper.

RZR is now part of the CFC, but thus far has done many independent ops unlike some CFC alliances. But that said, if your definition of a pet is being part of a coalition but not its leader, then yes

nc had pets: they got treated like shit and sometimes even after brining good numbers got kicked from their space. they had guests e.g. SMA who still live there and are a member of CFC now . so yes there is a difference.

Wasn't the NC a Goon Ally? Wonder who was treated like a second or third tier there.

It wasn't a fucking whelpcat fleet.

Vagas are not part of whelp cane doctrine, and whelp cane hurricanes are fit differently with a little bit more tank, no warp disruptor and cheaper rigs.

Razor had a few fleets divided among different corporations for training FC's and having fun as a competition. Notice in the video split dps, it is because they each had their own ts3 channel.

RZR is invading and want to take Tribute back, give docking rights to everyone, make a big brawl area of it… J-GAMP is just the first system to fall.

Very shortly the "NCdot is G4y" Outpost shall be opened up for anyone to enter as they please.

  6. so a few corrections to your BR..

    1. there was no doc used in this fleet, members were asked to bring whatever they wanted.

    2. the IRC gang was equalish in size but actually had a decent fleet comp.

We were doing mass corp roams split up into 4 subgroups of about 30ish members each for fun. After trolling around Venal/Tenal/Branch and Tribute the split FC's decided to head up to CE since historically IRC will form up a defense fleet.

2 of the groups merged into a single group numbering a hair over 60 and heading in one direction to CE and the other 2 groups were burning up to Ce in the other direction to try and entrap IRC. When ended up happening is IRC jumped into our first group of 60 which went ahead and engaged out numered. The other groups arrived later in the fight but it was too late to really make a difference.

We lost the fight for a few pretty easy to understand reasons.

    1. Horrible pilot skill, who approaches in a vaga -_-
    2. No combined target calling // nubbins not following primaries
    3. Primary drakes when hurricanes were still in range.
    4. IRC jump superior numbers when we were unprepared for them.

Really nothing out of the normal, good fun was had by all and regardless of the losses all of my Pilots were happy with the fight which is was the main point of the fleet.

    So op success

    1. your just as easy to troll as IRC.

So for the people who don't know the whole story that station has basically been sitting in a MM alt corp's hands for several month since NC. never bothered with it. Recently one of their pets/renters/whatever has been shooting it with a random collection of ships. Noticing this we've been hot-dropping and killing them from time to time. The last kill was a dread after directly after the kill the fc at the time noticed the station was pretty much dead and decided to finish it off just to troll the guys who have been shooting it for the past few days.

      Kills: http://www.eve-razor.com/killboard/?a=system_deta

All in all there are now about 90 IRC shooting it for nearly 2 hours, rumor has it IRC leadership promised their members a good fight from razor because we "care about the station"… nope sorry was a troll all along..

  15. Definitely Not Vogon

You know, after we helped rid RZR and friends of their sov I was worried we'd go soft. But thanks to a steady influx of goons and getting opportunities to help our allies this has not been the case.

Admittedly I do get tickled when I see the classic legacy razor guys show up in our space. Reminds me of old times. When I'm salvaging the wrecks.
