the answer to this is Jita is not the final destination for these items. They are purchased by NPC's in certain systems, Jita is not likely one of them. He may have been putting buy orders up at a lower price than the NPC's pay and then selling them himself in the proper system.
Or he just accumulated that stuff in nullsec then used some alliance logistics courier contract to transport it. since jita is the usual destination on most courier contracts, no wonder he came to pick up there and probably was going to fly to sell it somewhere.
of course, you have to at least live in nullsec to know such things..

0rphanage has war dec out on most 0.0 alliances, and gets kills and loot like this all the time, and have been for along time, why is this news worthy?
That being said, anyone retarded enough not to have an NPC corp alt deserves to lose thier stuff like this, regardless of if 0rphanage, or any other alliance for that matter have a war dec out on my alliance I never use my mains to get stuff in or out of Jita, and i'v moved alot more(isk value) stuff into Jita with 0rphanage war dec on my mains, and never been poped.
