April 10th
In Geminate: The Northern Coalition took down a RaidenDot tech tower in the system of SR-KBB. The running battle took an odd turn after the Northern Coalition fleet, slightly weakened by Black Legion attacks, was then attacked by Pandemic Legion in the tower’s final moments. After the Northen Coaltion was forced off the field, the RaidenDot forces then re anchored a new tower.
April 11th
In Geminate and Vale of the Silent: The Drone Russian attack goes on unabated, with nearly every Technetium moon in the region under the control of allied forces. The real story is the newer incursion into Vale of the Silent. Geminate being a border region, it’s defense is important, but not a threat to the greater NC. An invasion into Vale, such as the one in F-D49D is a major threat, and if not met with adequate force, could be the domino that ends this coalition.
April 12th
In Vale of the Silent: Speaking of dominoes, a director level renegade has stolen over 600 billion in isk and assets from Majesta Empire. This comes at a vitally important time as the Drone Russians and their allies have begun to invade this region where Majesta lives. The renegade director was a member of Reliables Inc, and while some of his theft certainly hit the alliance hard, the corporation may find it’s some time before they recover.
In Pure Blind: In a region now worth significantly less than two weeks ago, NCDOT and Evoke are still “fighting” with the Deklein Coalition and the NC. Since no space has changed hands, and very few moons have been taken for any extended period of time, one has to wonder if NCDOT and Evoke are finding the fights worth their time.
April 13th
In Fountain: A small shakeup in the region, which only recently has come under the complete purview of Test Alliance Please Ignore. While Fatal Ascension had a leadership shift, Apotheosis of Virtue has lost all three systems it held in the region. Test demanded the change based on a reported lack of participation on the part of AOV. The systems are no in the hands of Test Alliance.
April 15th
In Vale of the Silent: A Majesta Titan was downed in the system of 0-LR1H. The titan was not caught in a battle or even ratting. He was simply attempting to jump between locations using an intermediate cyno. One begins to wonder how he was caught so quickly without inside intel or a major mistake by the pilot. At least I’m wondering.

NCdot + Evoke has taken around 7 tech moons from NC, not sure about your view about being worth "their time" 7 tech moons = 49bil per month. Surely I would be happy with 49bil while killing NC fleets and ganking super caps?
Keep them for a month, and get back to me on that.
Sorry, that's not saying you can't hold them for a month… I'm just saying you haven't held them for a month yet… so saying you've got 49 bill in hand is ludicrous.
Good video by the way Hallan. Now addressing the NC./Evoke issue. I don't find them holding systems or moons to be much of an issue. They're distracting the larger Goon forces and preventing them from doing a full deployment to the east without losing space of their own in the process. This in and of itself is of huge value to the Northern fight at large. Without full support from the western front and the added 15k or so of DC members who are fresh and who have had a nice break from Sov war since the Fountain campaign the eastern NC have to deal with more of the strain. This is the real value of the NC./Evoke efforts.
The goons had no intention of doing a "full deployment" to the east so no such thing is being prevented. They're just not that close to the NC. Show up on ops if there's a good fight maybe, which the NC isn't currently offering.
They'll happily shoot NC./Evoke though.
The masters are calling out to the pets for help though.

The whole hold them for a month means shit 5 days pays for entire POS Losses and gives them great fights, everything else is cake
Also helping kill IT was sooooo stupid for NC, GSF would still be fighting them right now at a stalemate and those 10 Titans that basically tipped the scales in the big SC cl;ash, where is the help now from GSF for helping with BOB?
NC was very foolish to help GSF and I like GSF well at least test, but its so simple its basic art of war, you wanna help your less powerful enemies take the throne and have your very powerful ones stay in conflict so when the dust settles you can choose the new winner and get/carve up more land/sov.
So by helping kill BOB they just took GSF`s reason for thre help away before securing there own, GSF no longer needs them but they need GSF, where as before they needed eachother.

Very true. It's like an old King that doesn't have as much pull anymore. If he has say 3 sons . . . he doesn't want any of them getting too powerful too fast or they'll overthrow him and take the throne. He wants them to constantly bicker for his favor and fight amongst themselves to keep them off his back . . . this is what NC should have done with IT rather than smashing them and basically letting them combine FIN/X13 Supers with DRF supers.

I did not say Evoke/Ncdot have 49bil. I was stating the fact if they hold them for 1 month the outcome is 49bil. They have held them for at least 2 weeks from what I have been told so either way it has been well worth their time, saying that it has not been is ludicrous. fyi would not be surprised if Russians have been paying NCdot and Evoke.
Hallan, what determines the length of your reports? Just pondering how more content and maybe even some ambient eve background music would make these weekly videos perfect.
The length is mostly determined by how much news there is of note. I do sometimes raise minor news to the level of inclusion simply because there aren't enough "major" news stories. That said, the original idea was a 4 minute or less news segment. Get people updated quickly. Then during the IT, Initiative, and Kaelvala invasions/wars… well it was more news than 4 minutes could handle so that idea went out the window. Lately it's simmered down(to a point), not as many contests all over the place.
I also removed the ambient background music I've included in every other episode thus far to get a feel for what people think of it.
I liked the intro section. Also, I found you talked to fast in this episode.
Still like'em.

It's strange to me that you wonder "if it's worth their time" to invade the north. You will kick them out eventually, I am sure, but if they kill more of you than you killed of them they will consider it a victory. It's just a matter of perspective, and Tri / NCdot have always worked like this rather than focusing on territory.

lolololololol… Domino that ends the NC. Vale is hardly a domino of anything other than a couple of lower alliances border space. Morsus Mihi is not being serious yet, Razor is still trying to do their thing and PB NC are running around like chickens with their heads cut off. NC will soon wake up, and with their large player base awake they will force this blob of random enemy allies to break apart and then the russians will get their asses kicked again and then the NC will return home after their moons are being annoyed again and the cycle will go on and on and on just like my sentance.
We've all been hearing this "NC will wake up" shit for months now, and it has yet to happen. They haven't had a decisive victory for months now. They have held off losing systems, but with the amount of stupid SC losses and low numbers turning out for fleets, it is just a matter of time before the entire coalition starts collapsing.
And when (if)these magical sleeping PVP players start waking up, it will be too late.

Well . . . somebody better give them that complimentary wake up call soon. If the average member/corp starts to think their assets are in danger don't expect them to stick around and fight for a region they don't really see the true profits from. Other areas will start to seem much greener to Joe Carebear, Susie Industrialist and Mom & Pop Inc. , and lets be honest . . . the great majority of most non hardcore PvP alliances are these people who like to pvp when they're winning but really would prefer not to risk assets they can't afford to replace. Also another issue to ponder is the issue of RMTing in the NC. High level directors/CEOs who are in the position to trade isk squeezed from MoonGoo will start to think about flipping sides if real life money and well being enters the equation. So if the fighting gets more serious and "Core" NC alliances start to crack . . . watch for rogue directors defecting to the other side in return for safe havens to continue these activities.
But can Tri62, PL, Raiden, DRF and the rest of them keep it up together? Only takes NC having a few key victories in whelping NC.v0ke, PL or Raiden and then they will run off and the NC will be left staring at an alone DRF.

MM/RZR had everyone fooled into thinking the UFA`s,TNT`s,WIDOTS, Bricks needed them to survive when in reality it was the other way around, with out there numbers on these Ops where 8 RZR and 14 MM showed up they would all have been lost without the smaller "Guests"
Its time to wake up and realize the "Guests" are the true Ateam now and the "Core" dont do shit except bring a few guys to each fight or fight on there own in Provi and get butchered or against PL alone and lose badly.
I have alot of respect for the "Renter/Guests" and lost alot for MM/RZR, now in crunch time its the Guests holding it together
Oh and BTW the most scary thing in Eve was PL, Raiden, TriVoke and the other very small elite guys banding together [like Merci., Invicta, Darkside etc] and guess what it finally has, add to that Numbers that they didnt have alone with DRF and you have 1 badass Supercap and QRF subcap fleet that is second to none.
I like this a lot. Its way from being complete, but the presentation helps people too lazy at reading
