DRF attack on LS-JEP (Vale of the Silent) system took Northern Coalition by surprise and managed to destroyed several towers and reinforced the station / Ihub. DRF fielded an impressive fleet for the US timezone and had a special hotdrop squad ready for the bait they prepared. A bait that NC ate and lost a titan and a mothership to it. Morsus Mihi Erebus piloted by Countrywv and Morsus Mihi Aeon piloted by Yaay become another victims in the long row in supercapital deaths in battles between NC and DRF. Both mails weren´t generated but both sides confirmed the losses. Another NC aeon was in deep troubles – piloted by Battle Tested – but managed to escape.
NC didn´t manage to form a united command for the fight and thus had no chance despite having slightly more people in system. Module lag was for about 2 min. When local hit 800+ it was almost unplayable.
The system was later saved, as apparently the DRF forces did not reinforce IHUB, all SBUs were killed and station is now safe again.

Remember the DRF already said they were committing at least 6 months into this campaign to take your SOV. So there will be a point where forking out another Super/Titan will start to hurt a little more.

And a commitment of 6 months is just a made up number due to the fact if morale goes to shit and people start leaving, the campaign ends shortly after…

Super capitals are all paid by big alliances rather than individual players. Which most of them from moon mining income. So, who cares about super capital losses these days.
The massive destruction of non-reimbursed ships of individual players is the key to massively demoralized a big coalition.

You realize only about 5 alliances in NC contribute more than 1 member to any fleet. The NC core isn't good and the other 35 alliances they keep around are even more shit. Also, MH and WTF are involved with evoke and nc. atm in pure blind. But it doesn't matter because by the time DRF makes any significant push, sov space will be nerfed by CCP anyways and it will truly be "we didn't want that space anyways."

Seems like every Titan loss has a MM involved in it, They are at 67% and always blobbing and the other half of th times with like 10 guys n Gem fleets to add ISK etc on there KB`s.

All the NC had going was BFF, and between tensions betweens them and goons and now internally more and more lately I predict failure from the inside to happen a bit later.
When you blue everyone, and everything you can as a corp/alliance/coalition you don't attract good PvPers, you infact probably lose them. What you do attract in droves are carebears.

First off I'm not a fan of the NC but do you report anything except NC loses? Seems to be an awful lot of anti NC bias here, so much in fact I wonder if its worth reading your reports anymore as there seems to be no balance at all and this makes me wonder about ANYTHING you report on.

Vale, Geminate, Fade, Pure Blind. These are what the North likes to call "crumple zones." See, they convince alliances who want to be part of the NC to occupy these zones so that when someone comes after the NC they first have to go through these zones, which lessens the force of impact on the north (MM, RZR, Goons) as a whole.
By the time people actually get to the real meat of meaningful territory their collective membership is worn down and demoralized on sov warfare, so when the north gets serious about defending, the attackers have long since lost much of their initial force.
There are *a lot* of PvP pilots in the north that are inactive because they're bored out of their mind with the North's Day to day, so they wait for big shit to happen, then the resubscribe or actually log in when someone invades fortress tribute, which is where most pilots of the north have a cache of ships ready to go if someone does manage to reach the gates.
People think the NC are in despair because they're losing shit, or that the NC and DRF are so against each other and on the verge of civil war, while it would prove interesting it's just a facade that the NC HC enjoys the benefits of when it propagates among the enemy. Let the DRF, PL, NC., and whoever else come. The north will win as usual but at least there will be Good Fights for a while.
