IT Alliance evacuation attempt has been busted by members of PURPLE HELMETED WARRIORS. IT freighters counted on a armed tower as main defense, however most of the tower guns had no crystals loaded (damn fail). PURPLE HELMETED WARRIORS managed to catch them close to the tower force field and bridged right on top of them. There was no escape and all 5 freighters were destroyed – 4 obelisks and 1 charon.
The contents were interesting, 14 megathrons / 40 cheetah / 30 buzzards / 20 hawks / 21 enyos / 9 ravens / 6 phoons / 6 tempests / 14 badgers / faction items and supercapital fittings and loads of tritanium.

soz for the no content reply but this is just too hilarious…
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Wonder how long it took to haul the 70 cov ops into a station.
edit: Also so far as I know these guys aren't part of CF.
They are not part of the CF afaik. However, I'd love to send them a gift basket on behalf of TEST. Don't ask what's in it either.
I sent them 250 million
More like 10bil so they can talk with molle about it.
PHW aren't a 0.0 entity. They live out of Nandeza system in amarr lowsec.
is worth noting that IT alliance usually uses a titans and regular freighters as make shift Jump Freighters…
this was a disaster waiting to happen. 0.o
Most alliances do that. Normal freighters have much, much more cargo space than jump freighters. A titan and normal freighters can haul much more much faster than the same number of pilots in jump freighters.
Well, in my experience in the ally am in, all corps use jump freighters, matter of fact am training for one (18 days) to help my ally, but again, ally logistics might be handled differently in IT.
I smell an insider in that mess up, btw.
The main reason jump freighters are used is because it takes 1 person to run a jump freighter(assuming a cyno beacon) and 2+ to bridge freighters through a titan. In my experience normal freighters + titans are used when you want to move a large amount of items very fast. Different kinds of logistics call for different varieties of transportation.
I'd agree, and Titan bridges are also useful when the Region isn't secure enough for jump bridges. we all know that after Dark Rising left, the IT JB was turned to shit.. i'd expect them to turn to this with what titans they own.
This is so biased, This propaganda is fake
Looks more like an EVOL evac than an IT evac….
This is the most Evolution members logged in and in a fleet for a year or more
hahaha you got killed you are dieing as we speak
What did they do to get an UI like that?
id like to know too
http://balss-industries.com/eve_online/overview/i…
Unfortunately, its not fake….however while to most people it might seem like a very large hit, in reality its really not that big a deal for a corp like evol. If IT were to disband tomorrow, with of course Molle taking the prize portion of the alliance wallet, it would be one of the more well of corps in all of EVE. Yes, it looks great on a KM, and for many smaller corps would've destroyed their cohesion/morale, but to Evol being a communist corp anyway, where there is no "My Stuff", this was a drop in the bucket. No, for all you trolls, I'm not saying the famous "We didn't want those freighters anyway" line. I'm just saying that when you understand the true amount of isk that EVOL has, this honestly means nothing. I will say however, that it highlights the difference in chain of command. AVI, PK, PG or Easely would roast MVN members alive if we made a mistake that large due to sheer lack of preperation/planning.
WTH is that yellow/informational stuff, post video editing or some unknown eve client feature?
Id put my money on some modification. I wonder if it is really a good idea to upload vids showing your name and something you could get bannned for to the internets though.
Especially after pissing someone off that much.
Are you implying that CCP will come to IT's aid?
Implying? a lot would argue that CCP has been working hard at that.
Not really, i was implying that some angry IT person might petition him and he could easily get banned.
looking at the freighter with the "supercap" fittings is it a coincedence that it had dark blood loot and IT have lived in blood space? also a triage and siege module surely means it was for a supercap????????
Run IT, run away, the Goons are coming.
the informational stuff in his UI( yellow Text over ships) isn't bannable, do a little reasearch
Evolution? What eveolution?
"Just out of interest how long did it actually take to bring all the freighters etc down? (It wasn't 4 mins surely as that would be amazing to say the least?) What did you lot end up taking? or did someone come & use the POS guns to shoot the wrecks? "
It was 4mins, we didn't loot the bs or the csaa everything else was looted the then popped the wrecks
*then they popped the wrecks
Sir Molle's corp evacuates assets from Delve… Damn, we seriously won this war. )
Go to eve-files.com and see the big announcement.Bye Bye goons, test,NC
There are no Goons
leave it to them to do something stupid
This method is pretty workable for endpoints where the final cyno's on the station but would run into trouble with midpoints where you can't have the titan sit within dock range of the station where a JF just moves out from there. Managing midpoints would require, as we see, towers to hold the titans which makes you more committed to a single midpoint and endpoint and in being static you become easier for purple helmeted warriors to track and gank you. In this case with the capital ship assembly array having to be moved they were sorta stuck with this solution and might as well move a few more freighters for good measure.
For regular logistics though while I'm sure the throughput is immense the security of this method leaves something to be desired.
Titans sitting in dock range of a station? Seems less secure than sitting at a POS….
